Diljit Dosanjh says Ishq Haazir Hai this Valentine's

Diljit Dosanjh has launched a film that will be released a day prior to Valentine’s Day. The movie is a short love story titled Ishq Haazir Hai and will have an online release on a channel on YouTube. Playing the female lead opposite Diljit is Wamiqa Gabbi.

The film is a narrative of two people who love each other deeply and who are separated.But suddenly, within one day, everything changes and their lives take a different turn. Says Diljit, “I liked the idea of this film through this medium very much since it hasn’t been attempted in Punjabi cinema prior. I truly enjoyed doing the film. Besides, it’s been a long time since I did a romantic role so, this Valentine’s I thought of greeting people with a love story.”

Baljinder S Mahant, story-screenplay writer and director of the film, says, “Nowadays, people lead busy lives and want everything in small packages. In keeping this, I thought of making a short commercial film so that viewers save on their time and money. When I discussed the idea with Diljit, he liked the concept, so we took him on board.”
